Cider Club!
The Cider club is our way to connect to customers across the country regularly. Our relationship with VinoShipper (3rd party distributor), lets us send cider to you on a re-occurring basis. As we get started the cider releases will be quarterly or month to month. Club members will have the opportunity to skip releases if the shipments become to regular.
One of my greatest concerns as a customer is understanding the actual price for something when signing up for a club membership and sometimes it is hard to understand costs. So I want to break out what our approximate margins are and show you where the costs are in direct shipment, below is our breakout:
Each 12oz can will generally cost: $2.25 * 12 = $27.00
12 pack packaging materials cost: $9.00
Shipping (variable on location and volume) General Est.: $27.00
Total package cost for 12, twelve oz cans of cider: $64
Per can costs at your door step: $5.33
In the future we plan to making packing materials and shipping materials more economical to our customers by sending out a larger quantity of cider per release decreasing packing material cost and sending more cider at the same shipping price.
